The focus for Loving Hands Ministry is to concentrate on meeting the basic needs of our community. This ministry is not meant to operate as a food bank, or food pantry. It is designed for the food collected to be delivered to families in need. Jeff Carnie and Spectrum through their travels will also focus on collecting food for Loving Hands Ministry. Loving Hands will also be involved in presenting different programming throughout the year to keep food supplies available. For those of you not in our immediate area, and are not able to drop off food, we encourage you to send gift cards from major food chains which can be given to families in need. Loving Hands will continue to serve the needs of our church and community as long as God inspires and provides.

Loving Hands Ministry continues to serve the needs of individuals through the love and generosity of the Worship Department. A few weeks ago I informed our team members that the pantry was in need of food supplies. Awaiting me the following Sunday were three cases of canned fruit, and much much more. It took me more than an hour to un-pack and put the items away.  A week later, one of the members of the church was sensitive to the needs of a young man and lady in the parking lot of Applebee's. She observed they were arguing and asked if she could be of assistance. They shared their problem, and the member decided she could best help them by bringing them to the church. "Loving Hands" ministry was able to provide them with food. I thank God for this ministry and its ability to meet the needs of His people. This ministry continues to serve individuals weekly. Hallelujah!
